Sensory toys

These are toys that stimulate children to experience new sensations, textures, sounds, colors, and smells. They encompass much of the human brain's cognitive development, including areas such as the primary somatosensory cortex (touch), near the parietal lobe, as well as the occipital cortex (vision) and the temporal cortex (hearing).
